The inspiration for A Hippie Chick's blog came to Stacy Vanden Heuvel during a chaotic time — when she was clearing her basement. She discovered treasures from the late '60s to early '70s, a vibrant era of the Hippie movement. She was very young then, so Stacy realized she was a Hippie Chick. She continues to embrace the positive values that Hippies promote, such as love, understanding, and the desire to improve our world. But how do you share these positive vibes? As a former web designer, Stacy built a website as a platform for a Hippie Chick's perspective. A place to reflect on life and celebrate the positive things we strive for. 🦋
Hippie Chicks are known by many names and are not limited by location or clothing style. I don't intend to present societal speculation of any era but to highlight the positive values Hippies contribute today. Families can benefit from multigenerational experiences, such as participating in the 1960s counterculture or having a Hippie Chick Mom, which makes you a Hippie Chicklet.
